How to measure window for curtains

1.  Measure the width of the window/frame/trim you’d like to cover.  At a minimum, add 12” for the ‘returns’.  At a maximum, order 3 times this width, in order to provide ‘fullness’ for the curtain.
2.  Measure the height for the curtains.  For curtains with rod pockets, measure from the top of the rod to the point where you’d like the curtains to stop (floor, window sill, somewhere in between, etc).  For curtains with grommets, add 1” to the length to compensate for the grommet offset.
